BlackBerry offering up to $550 to those who trade in an iPhone

BlackBerry is growing desperate and announcing what they call a holiday special. To me it seems like the only ones winning will be them, but if you are interested in getting a BlackBerry Passport you may get up to $550 for trading in your iPhone.

Officially, you would be getting $400 in credit, but BlackBerry would then give you an extra $150 for getting a BlackBerry Passport. Of course, it all depends on which iPhone you have. The $400 credit is probably for a shiny iPhone 6 Plus.

Opinion: Those who follow me know I have more than a few words to say about BlackBerry, but ultimately I kinda like the Passport. Does it beat a brand new iPhone 6? Not in my opinion, but the Passport is a pretty darn cool phone.
